The family of Thomas Henry Cassidy announce with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Jeannine Cassidy (Lachapelle). Dear brother of Mary Cassidy. Loving father of Tom Cassidy (Cindy) and Dan Cassidy (Christine). Cherished grandfather of Morgan, Joe, Liam and Emma. Born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Tom and Jeannine moved to Toronto, North Bay and finally settled in Lively, where they raised their sons. Tom was a quiet, unassuming and gentle soul who was devoted to his family above all else. He was a loyal employee and manager at Xerox for many years. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed skiing, raquet sports, golf, hunting, fishing and the occasional beer. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter and love.
