Obituary of Tammy Candy Hubley
Tammy Candy Hubley, age 52 of Mount Pleasant, passed away peacefully in her home on February 19, 2021. Tammy was born in Montreal, Quebec and grew up in Downtown Dartmouth, she was the daughter of Aby Martten and the late Debra Power “Mrs. Happy Face”.
Tammy worked crazy long hours for the Department of Transportation in Hebbville, but appreciated every minute of it because of all the people she got to meet. She loved the outdoors and spent more time outside than inside. She could either be found in her flower garden or in the hot tub. Tammy always had the tunes going and her lights flashing on the back deck – this, was her Happy Place!!!!
I’m free to be Happy and Happy to be free!!!
Tammy is survived by her adoring husband Tim; son Bronson; father Aby (Laurie) Martten; half-brother Adam; half sister Lindsay; mother and father-in-law June and Vincent Hubley; grandmother Geraldine MacFadden; stepbrothers Tony (Carol Bandfield) Power, Leisa (Eddy) Morel, Terry (Lisa Morash) Power, Vicki (Joe Gamble) Macrae; and many great friends.
Besides her mother, Tammy was predeceased by stepfather William Power and stepbrother Gregory Power.
Cremation has taken place and a service to be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Rock Church, Lower Sackville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
