Suzanne Gallant (Larabie)
The family announces with profound sadness her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on August 13, 2021 at the age of 59 years. Beloved wife of Prudent Gallant. Cherished mother of Valerie (Evan) Palaszewski, Eric Villeneuve and dear step-mother of Tanya Gallant (Chris Linton), Luc (Allison) Gallant and Paul Gallant. Proud grandmother of Colson, Ava, Ayla, Austin, Dylan, Yannick and Dominique. Dear daughter of Wilfred and Murielle Larabie and sister of Carole (John) Larabie-Mcilquham and Pauline Hamelin (Romeo Paquette). She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and the Gallant family.
Suzanne had a love of helping people and she did that throughout the community as an insurance broker for many years. She also loved spending time at the cottage with her husband Prudent and family. Sue would host family gatherings and spend her extra time gardening and taking long rides on the pontoon boat.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private funeral service will take place. The family will receive friends for a public celebration of her life at the Dante Club on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm. Social distancing and masks will be required. Remembrance donations to TADH Foundation – Hospice Centre would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
