Obituary
Suzanne Frances McCann
After a courageous and exhaustive struggle with Alzheimer’s, Suzanne’s family sadly wish to announce her passing at White Rapids Manor on October 23, 2021. Suzanne was born in Fredericton Junction on Feb. 5, 1941 to the late Christine and Walter Parker.
She grew up in Welsford where she learned to work in her mother’s restaurant, later retiring from CFB Gagetown as a licensed cook. Suzanne loved her family above all else and was always willing to lend a hand when needed.
Suzanne will be greatly missed by her husband Lloyd, son Nick (Wanda) and grandchildren Michael (Cassidy), Daniel (Alexis), great grandchildren Jack, Timmy and Adaline, as well as, her sister Isabelle Wilby and brother Murray. She will also be remembered by brother in law Murray (Francine) and sisters in law Eleanor, Ann and Lirette and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Suzanne is predeceased by her brothers Fred (Maxine), Pat (Marge) and Wayne, as well as brothers in law Vincent and Gary and sister in law Phyllis.
As per the family’s wishes and in accordance with Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation. A private Funeral Service will be held at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
A very special thanks to Suzanne’s wonderful care givers Susan Warner and Naomi Verch, as well as, the nurses and staff at White Rapids Manor.
