We are very sad and heartbroken to share that on Tuesday afternoon Stuart passed away suddenly at home at the age of 39 years. Stuart died peacefully in his big office chair in front of his computer. The pathology report indicated a large blood clot in the coronary artery, which damaged the heart muscle. Stuart will be sadly missed by his parents Jack Armfelt and Bernice Forrester as well as Adam and Derek Forrester of Red Deer, Dan Armfelt and his family in Kamloops, as well as Edmonton, Athabasca and Vancouver. Stuart was born in Vernon Jubilee Hospital; he attended school at Ranchero Elementary, as well as Highland Park elementary in Armstrong. He later went to Pleasant Valley Secondary in Armstrong. Stuart enjoyed sports, and played hockey for the Credit Union Classics. Stuart developed a bone disease in his right hip. This was a very difficult time for him and resulted in Stuart needing a hip replacement. Despite having his hip replaced Stuart still played High School football and always gave it his all. Over the years Stuart worked at a number of local businesses Sutherlands in Enderby, Computer store in Vernon. One of Stuart’s favorite jobs over the years was working for Big River Trucks on the banks of the McKenzie River in the N.W.T. Stuart also worked as an Electricians Assistant in Portland, Oregon. Returning home to Vernon Stuart went through some difficult times and struggled with depression. He was able to find solitude in playing his favorite video games, dungeons and dragons and other combat games. Stuart was very special in his own way and we loved him very much. He is resting in peace and will always be remembered.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Stuart Richard Armfelt January 12th 2021..
