Stuart Beaveridge was predeceased by his father Stanley Beaveridge, his mother Wilhamena Jackson Denny, stepfather Edwin Oakes, and wife Janice. Stuart is survived by sons Ashley and Ralph (Linda) Beaveridge, brothers Denny (Evie) Beaveridge and Ken (Mary Jane) Oakes, grandchildren Sophie, Justin, Kayleigh, and many nieces and nephews.
Stuart was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He earned his master’s degree at the University of Victoria. Stuart served in the British army, and his career was in education and professional writing. Stuart loved music, travel, academics and creating writing. He was a devoted adherent of the Bahá’í Faith.
Stuart’s final resting place is at the Mountain View Cemetery in North Cowichan on the traditional lands of the Hul’q’umi’num’ peoples.
