Obituary
The family of Steven Anthony Gomes of Toronto is saddened to announce his passing on September 30, 2021 at the age of 65 years. Predeceased by his father Joseph and his brothers Allan and Nick. Steve leaves behind his mother Doris, his brothers Bernard, Patrick (Rochelle), Rick, Gary (Kelly), his children and many nieces and nephews. Steve will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour and vibrant storytelling. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Friends may visit on Saturday October 9 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd W. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the capacity of the funeral home’s facilities is limited. Guests will have to provide contact information on arrival, wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. Once rooms meet capacity limits, guests may have to move to another room, or wait outside as space permits.
A funeral service will take place in the Ridley Funeral Home Chapel immediately following the visitation at 3:00 pm. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the capacity of the church is limited. Guests must register using the Sign Up button below, and will be expected to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidlelines. Those not registered may not be admitted. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed. Those who wish to view the livestream may access it via the link in the Events section or by clicking the Watch Now button on the Tribute Wall
