Smart, Joyce Lorraine
Joyce Smart of Collingwood passed away peacefully at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the age of 90.
Born in Meaford on December 12, 1930, Joyce was a daughter of the late Lorne and Ethel (nee Murray) Hill.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Bassett Smart on July 28, 2015.
Joyce was the loving, kind and considerate mother of Susan Smart of Collingwood.
She was the dear sister of Murray Hill of Wiarton and was predeceased by her brother Garry Hill. Joyce will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families.
One of Joyce’s favourite things to do was spending time with her daughter Susan preparing for and setting up their “Southern Designs” booth at craft shows. She really enjoyed crafts and designing things to make people’s homes more beautiful. She loved visiting and chatting with family and friends and getting to know new people.
A private family graveside service will be conducted at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
