Simonne Cormier
1933 ~ 2021
Shediac, NB ~ Simonne Cormier, 87, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac on Monday, June 28th, 2021.
Born in Grand-Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Ovila LeBlanc and the late Sara LeBlanc born Léger.
She will be sadly missed by two sons, Patrice Cormier (Jackie) of Jacksonville, NB and Vernon Cormier (Nicole) of Shediac; her daughter, Angèle Cormier (Maurice) of Dieppe; two brothers, Algerno LeBlanc and Daniel LeBlanc (Gisèle) both of Grand-Barachois; her sister, Roberte LeBlanc (Jean-Paul) of Montreal; three grandchildren, Geneviève Cormier, Constance Cormier and Steven Devarennes; also by one great-grandchildren, Benjamin Cormier; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Simonne was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Cormier, two brothers, Ronald LeBlanc and Henry LeBlanc and two sisters, Auréa LeBlanc and Bernadette Boudreau.
In keeping with Simonne’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no Funeral service. A Celebration of her life will be held at the cemetery the day of the burial service.
