Simone Hamilton (Boileau)
In loving memory of Simone Hamilton, 89 years on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of 60 years of Léo Hamilton (predeceased). Daughter of the late Ida Boileau and Anna (née Goulard). Dear sister of Gilbert Boileau (Ida) of Chelmsford and Louis Boileau (Sheila) of Lively. Predeceased by her sister Rita Cecchini (Frank) and first husband Adélard Filion, brother Léonard Boileau (Carmel), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lucy Williams (Raymond), Alice Cline (Harry), Rita Bouchard (Matthew), Thérèse Côté (Camille) and Laurence Vachon (Roland). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Simone retired from the Doctors Library at Laurentian Hospital with several years of service. Most sincere thanks to the nurses and staff on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Daffodil Center at Health Sciences North and the PSW’s and nurses that tended to her at home for the kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer. Masks are mandatory and social distancing guidelines must be respected.
