Shirley Coles
1927-2021
Shirley Louise Coles, 93 of Elgin passed away
Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Sus Health Center.
Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the
late John R. and Nellie L. (Niles) Steele. Shirley was a retired Loans
Manager at the Bank of Montreal with over 40 years of
service.
She is survived by her children Preston Coles,
Alan Coles (Lynn) and Ann Collier (Greg); many loved grandchildren
David Johnson (Angele), Amy Major (Jay), Andrew Lewis (Holly), Eric
Lewis, Grace Collier, Shawn Coles, Tanya Trenholm (Steve), Tina
Costain (Darren) and Tammy Coles; several great grandchildren and
great great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces
and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ralph; daughter Carolyn; son
John and sister Isabell Wallace.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral
Home (372-4800). There will be a private family graveside service at
Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer
Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the
family.
