With deep sadness we announce the passing of our Superman Shayne on April 10, 2021 at the young age of 30. Treasured husband and best friend of Brittnee Fecteau. Loving son of Tammey Graff (Dean) and Dave De Yong (Tara). Son-in-law of Richard and Jamie Fecteau. Grandson of Bryon and Pam Squire; Sandy McIntyre; Henry De Yong; Viola Duguid. Dear brother of Nolan De Yong, Tom De Yong, and Darrin De Yong (Jessica). Brother-in-law of Cooper Fecteau (Farha), Tiffany Davila (Luis) and Tanya Fecteau (DaVaughn). Stepbrother of Megan, Carley, and Abby Stark. Loved uncle of Hannah Gapp, Emily Grace De Yong, Trevor Ryckman, Isabella Davila, Malcolm Elliott, and Paisley. Nephew of Troy Squire (Charity), Dean De Yong (Kim). Cousin of Anayis, Taylor, Troy Benjamin Jr. William Kelly II, Talia, Evie, Lauren, and Morgan. Godfather of Kallum Argent and Wyatt Argent. Brother from another mother of Kyle Argent, Matt Upcott, Darcy Joudrey, Jeff Joudrey. He will be sadly missed by his faithful companion Lucy.
We were always impressed how special Shayne made everyone feel. He always had a smile and his laughter was contagious. Shayne loved with his full heart and was truly the glue of the family. He had a positive attitude even after suffering his accident at work in 2014. Shayne never complained and remained the life of the party. His memory will always remain in our hearts forever.
Shayne is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North Es on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. MASKS AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Reservations are made on www.kennedyfh.com. Cremation will follow. Donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. You may send your condolences online at www.kennedyfh.com
