With a smile that would shine as bright as the bling she loved. Sharon brought love an joy everywhere she went.
It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Manuel age 49 on Friday, September 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She will be forever missed by her loving husband Adlai; son Brandon (Miranda); daughter Abbie (Tanner); sister Laurie (Kevin); brothers: Johnny (Carolyn) and Brendan (Glenda); nephews Joshua and Jordan and niece Isla; sisters-in-law: Donna, Paulette (Frank), Judy (Dave), Tracy (Todd), Cavell (Mohamed) and Jennifer; brother-in-law Dan (Holly) and special second “daughter” Emma Osmond. Sharon also leaves to mourn numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends including some very special girlfriends.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents Geraldine Wiseman and John Emberley, paternal and maternal grandparents, parents-in-law Eric and Patsy Manuel, brothers-in-law Larry and Terry Manuel and nephew Julian Day.
Sharon spent the last 26 years being married to the love of her life and raising her two beautiful children. She made a career out of helping others as a home care worker, showing her love and compassion for all she cared for.
She had a passion for gardening like her mom and always made sure she had the best flowers in Deer Lake. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends shopping, going for long walks and just spending time together.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Health Science Centre and all her family and friends for all the love and care Sharon received.
Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In compliance with Covid-19 regulations, masks will be required at both the visitation and funeral.
