Inshad (Foufa) Gamil Ghabrous was born in Alexandria, Egypt on September 24, 1938 to the late Mr. Gamil Ghabrous Sharaby and the late Mrs. Lily Farah. She was one of four children, along with the late Nagui, the late Mofeed and Dr. Shadwa Gamil. She was married on June 18, 1959 to the late William Is-hak Faragalla and was blessed by having four children, Sameh (Manal), Samah (Wadie), Lily (Shoukry) and Fadi (Magui), as well as six grandchildren, Lara (Stewart), Anne, Nadeen (Zachary), Mira, Maya and Alex. While she devoted her life to raising her family, her main focus was always serving the Lord. From a young age she was a prayer warrior, intercessor, and had an angelic voice. Her life’s mission was to praise and serve the Lord. For many years, she was an active member of the Attarine Church in Alexandria, Egypt. In April 2012 she moved to Canada and was honoured to be a part of the Edmonton Arabic Church. Her kindness and love for others were without match. On March 4, 2021, she went to be with her Lord and Saviour after a full life filled with blessings and service to the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her entire family and the Christian community in Egypt, Canada and the United States. We are thankful for the blessing that was her life and we rejoice with the angels that are welcoming her to heaven. A traditional burial service will be held at Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The livestream of the event can be found at distantlink.com/SerenityES.html
