Bissonnette, Sadie
Christine – Sydney formerly of Port
Hawkesbury. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sadie
Christine (Lynk) Bissonnette on September 28, 2021, the morning of her
65th birthday in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Sadie was born
in Sydney, a daughter of the late Alex and Irene Lynk (Marion
Bridge).
Sadie through the years loved to house clean for other
people, she would say if you don’t see your shadow on the
floor, it’s not clean. Sadie loved to play bingo and lottery
tickets and cheer on her favourite teams, Toronto Maple
Leaf’s and Blue Jays. Oh, we can’t forget yard
sale, her favourite holiday, Christmas.
She is leaving behind her son, Dan Alex « DA » and
his children, Savannah, Evan, Tyler and their mom, Jodi; her
step-children, Louise (Bruce) and Robbie (Charmaine);
step-grandchildren, Tyson, Jordan; sisters, Margie (Chester) and
Diane; brother, Philip; son-in-law, Sandy St. John and many nieces
nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Sadie was predeceased by her
husband, Louis Bissonnette; daughter, Mary Ann St. John; sister,
Darlene Lynk.
By Sadie’s request there will be no visitation. A
graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 6 in St.
Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury with Father Conrad Edwards
officiating.
Donations in memory of Sadie may be made to The Canadian
Cancer Society or St. Joseph Cemetery Fund, Port
Hawkesbury.
