Ruth Wolfe. October 23, 1927 – October 21, 2021
With shattered hearts we announce the passing of Ruth Wolfe, beloved Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was predeceased by her brother Ollie, parents Karl and Elsbeth Kaun, her precious son Brent and much loved son-in-law Darrell Bjeng (Carla’s husband) and many other dear relatives.
Ruth is survived by her loving daughter Carla Rae James, special granddaughter Erin (Corey) Gardiner and their sons Adian and Ewan of Vernon, B.C. and Brent’s children, Darren, Ashley, Lindsay and their families.
Ruth was a kind friend, gracious hostess, classy lady who loved clothes and jewellery, and a very loving presence. Always an open door and a sweet smile. She cared deeply about her family and that showed through all she did. Thanks Mom for all the draperies you made for our houses, your sewing talents were many and you were always so humble about things you did or made that were so special to us. Ruth was a kind and generous soul that touched the lives of so many.
She will be dearly missed, but leaves behind precious memories of fun, many cruises and trips, laughter, great meals and love. We know you are happy now with Dad, Brent, Darrell and the others who made it to Heaven before you. You are one of God’s special Angels. Erin and I hold you in our hearts with eternal love.
There will be a Funeral Service Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at 2:00pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 627 Taylor St E, Saskatoon. Due to Covid, we ask that only family attend , that you wear a mask, have been double vaccinated and socially distance.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the future when we can all be together safely.
