Rupert’s Obituary
CROWELL, Rupert Stanley – 82 of The Hawk, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at home. Born at the Hawk, he was a son of the late Morton & Ruth (Nickerson) Crowell. Rupert was a school bus driver for several years. In his younger years he was a fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, rowing in skives with his brother and cousins. He is survived by brothers, Hartley (Anna), Franklin; sister, Linnie Penney; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by siblings, Alfred, Rudolph, Walton, Dora, and Mildred. There will be a visitation held 6-8 pm, Thursday, at the H M Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Lavender officiating. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
