Obituary of Ross Gerald Wheaton
Mr. Ross Gerald Wheaton was born in Sus, NB on June 14, 1957; he was the son of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Simpson) Wheaton.
Ross was a hardworking man, he worked for Canada Packers for many years before going to work for Norrad’s Redemption Center, where he spent the better part of the last 15 years.
Ross was never a man to sit around and be idle, unless it involved Tim Horton’s of course. He loved to go for walks, and spending time at the camp. He enjoyed a good camp party and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He loved to watch hockey; especially his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, but there was no better team for him then when he was watching all of the kids play.
He lived for a dirt road and going for drives. Whether it was a Sunday drive with the golden oldies or one of his many adventures with Judy and James and Janice. There was not a backroad in New Brunswick that they didn’t travel down. He enjoyed all his hunting excursions with James and bought his fishing license every year, even though he never used it.
He was a kind hearted and loving man. One who always wanted to do for others and who will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Judy; his stepchildren: Jeff Thibodeau of Moncton, Tammy Boudreau of Sus and Trevor Thibodeau of Alberta; his sisters: Grace Wheaton of Sus, Mary Wheaton of Sus and Phyllis Virtue and her husband Ray of Plumweseep; his brothers: Murray Wheaton of Norton and Roy Wheaton and Carol Harper of Sus; his step grandson, Damon Boudreau; his godchildren: Stacey McFarlane, Amy Nelson and her husband Jason and Danny Jeffries and his wife Micah; he was Old Grampy to Victoria, Allie, Georgie, Hunter, Thatcher and Jasper; his special friends: James and John Jeffries; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Mr. Ross Gerald Wheaton of Sus passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 30, 2021 at the age of 64.
