Ronald Herbert Hovey
1937-2021
Ronald Herbert Hovey of Oakland, NB passed away on Sunday,
May 30, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was
born June 18, 1937 and was the son of the late Donald and Marguerite
Hovey. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Fred
(Irene) Hovey.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Ann Hovey of Oakland, NB;
children, David Hovey of , BC, Michael Hovey of Alberta, Todd Hovey of
BC, Lorraine Ross of BC; siblings, Glendon Hovey of Waterville, NB,
Donna (Lawrence) Hawkes of Vancouver Island, BC, Wanda (Jack) Black of
Oakland, NB; 12 grandchildren; stepsons, Dale Vernall of BC, Wallie
Buchanan of PEI; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home 2 High
Street, Hartland on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral
service will be at the Britton Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 2nd at
1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating. The interment will
follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. Due to Covid 19
restrictions, social distancing and masks are required.
