Ronald Hector Leblanc
1936-2021
Ronald Hector Leblanc, 85, of Moncton
and formerly of Shepody passed away on November 30, 2021 at the
Moncton Hospital.
He was born in Moncton on March 26,
1936 and is the son of the late Hector and Florence
Leblanc.
Ron was self employed all of his life
and was an entrepreneur. Some of the businesses he owned were: scrap
metal business, ceramic shop, recycling centre (before it was
fashionable) and converted bus to motorhomes. There was never a job he
was afraid to take on. He was a wheeler dealer and was known for
making many deals over his lifetime. He was a member of the Moncton
Flight Club, Family Motor Coach Association and Square Dancing
Association. He enjoyed travelling all over Canada and the US in his
motorhome, and exploring other parts of the world with his wife one
many trips they made together. He made many memories with his family
on those trips. Ron also volunteered for the Lions Club and Shepody
Food Bank when he lived in the area and was a great help in getting
supplies. He and his wife Sandy had a hobby farm with over 100 animals
at some points. They built the Shepody Inn which they ran together for
years. They were known for their hospitality and loved getting to know
the people who stayed at the Inn. A full house of family and friends
was a happy house for both of them.
When Sandra passed away in 2011, Ron
eventually sold the Inn and moved to Moncton to be closer to
family.
He will be deeply missed by his three
sons, Todd Thompson, Aaron Leblanc and Jason Leblanc; four daughters,
Linda Leblanc, Tracy Meunier (Leblanc), Dawn Shirley and Nikki Leblanc
as well as by his many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his wife, Sandra (Dickinson).
Honouring Ron’s own wishes there will
be no visitation or funeral service.
For those who wish donations to the
charity of the donor’s choices would be appreciated.

Sandra Leblanc
(Dickinson)
1943-2011
It is with great sadness we announce
the passing of Sandra Gail Leblanc, 68, of Shepody, on Thursday,
August 6th , 2011 after a sudden passing at home. Born in Moncton, she
was the only daughter of the late Dorrance Wynn and Lorna Emily
(Everett) Dickinson.
Sandra was born in Moncton, NB, but
spent most of her young life in Rexton NB where she attended school
and took an interest in dancing and the great outdoors. As a young
adult, she moved to Moncton. Sandra, known to her friends as Sandy,
started off her career at the Moncton YMCA teaching swimming and yoga.
She also hosted a morning live yoga show on the local TV station in
the late 1960’s. She also participated in a television
program on how to go camping. She also worked for Parks and Services
in Moncton where she ran a program introducing youth to the outdoors
which included a Sugar Maple camp in the winter and canoes trips down
many rivers in NB as she raised her family she became a small business
owner. For many years, she owned a ceramic shop where she taught
classes to many students. Later on, she became known for her porcelain
dolls that she hand crafted and sold at local craft fairs around the
Maritimes. In the early 1990’s, her family moved to Shepody
and purchased a hobby farm. Sandra and Ron then expanded the farm and
build an Inn which had over 8 guest rooms. At one point, she had over
a 100 animals on the farm which she loved to spend time with. The
thing she loved the most was to have her home filled with her family
and friends.
She loved to step outside the box as
people would say. She was a certified scuba diver, certified yoga
teacher and had her private pilot licence. There was nothing that she
would say no to when it came to adventure weather traveling around the
world, horse backing riding or even jumping on a skidoo and heading in
the woods.
Sandra is mourned by her husband Ron
Leblanc, her three sons, Todd Thompson, Aaron Leblanc and Jason
Leblanc, her four daughters, Linda Leblanc, Tracy Meunier (Leblanc),
Dawn Shirley and Nikki Leblanc as well as her many
grandchildren.
She will also be sadly missed by her
brothers, John Dickinson of Amherst Point, NS, and Dale Dickinson of
Rexton, NB, and by her many nieces and nephews.
