After a remarkable life of 87 years, it is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, Rocco Pace on October 28, 2021. Rocco died peacefully at home holding his wife’s hand. Rocco was a loving and devoted husband to Teresa for 60 years, and a dedicated and passionate father to Guy (Caroline), Vincent (Argenite), Joseph (Barbara), Gina (Lou) and Angela (Rocco). Rocco was a proud Nonno to Stefanie (Curtis), Andrew, Michael, Juliana, David, Jonathan, Ava, Daniel and Rafael.
Rocco touched our lives with his generosity and giving nature, his many talents and his kindness. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his extended family members and dear friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses and PSWs who provided Rocco with exceptional care.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue West) on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Nicholas of Bari Church (1277 St. Clair Avenue West) on Monday, November 1 at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID – 19 restrictions at the cemetery, a private entombment will take place at Westminster Cemetery.
The funeral mass will be livestreamed via St. Nicholas of Bari’s Youtube channel.
