Obituary of Robert John Kelly
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert J Kelly, known to friends as “Bob”, announces his sudden passing on Saturday, February 13th, 2021, at the age of 78. Son of the late Joseph and Georgina Kelly (nee Gregory). Brother of the late Ernie, Earl (Therese), and Sylvia (Allan Armstrong). Survived by his sister Margaret (Jack Sullivan) and will be missed greatly by many friends, nieces, and nephews.
He will be loved and never forgotten by his niece Ann and great nephew Matthew Kelly. All Bob wanted for them was to be safe and to take care of them and he did just that, everyday. He loved them unconditionally and wanted nothing in return except to love him, which they did with all their heart.
Bob loved his trips to Hamilton to see his sister Margaret with his nieces Lisa and Kelly. They were some of his favourite times. He will be missed by Kim Stitt and her family; they spent many summers down by the river and made him feel very special. He will also be missed by special friends Nadine and Melvin Paquette who spent many afternoons playing cards and keeping each other company. Bob loved nothing more than having someone to sit and chat with. Bob will finally be able to be with the love of his life Elizabeth Bloom.
Bob was a great, caring man who did anything for anyone and will be in the hearts of many. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
