In loving memory of Robert Randall Boyd, aka “Beaver, Papa” who passed away at Health Sciences North on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Marsha (Martin) Boyd of Coniston. Loving father of Tammy Dandehault (Marc), Pamela Rivet (Denis), Richard Paulin (Francine), Bruce Boyd (Shannon) and Johnathan Boyd (Brittany). Cherished Papa of Samantha, Sydney, Aaron, Dennika, Mallory, Hope, Nathan, Ashley, Cody, Aria, Isla and great grandchildren Trinity, Kenny, Bowen, Ryker and baby boy Dandenault soon to be born. Dear son of Burt predeceased and Clara Boyd of Coniston. Dear brother of Wayne predeceased, Allan predeceased, John, Cathy (Gord), Janis (Steve), Mark (Pam), Mike (Janis) and brother-in-law of Jay Martin and Michelle Martin. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Dad loved his family dearly and was happiest when surrounded by them. He enjoyed visiting with his many friends, golfing (also watching), hunting, puttering around the yard and was the ever so obliging personal family taxi driver. Dad/Papa was a quiet, gentle kind-hearted, hard working, giving, and willing to give the shirt off his back. He loved his family and friends, the simple things in life, people’s company, sharing memories, home made wine and singing. He was the life of the party; he made the best bbq ribs and Roppie pie. A little piece of his essence stayed with everyone he had the pleasure of knowing. We all love you and miss you already. Until we meet again. We would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for taking such good care of our dad for the past three years. At. Beaver’s request, cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
