Obituary of Robert « Bob » Joseph Ben
Peacefully passed away at The Elden of Bradford on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Bob Ben of Tamworth and formerly of Hamilton at 81 years of age. Beloved husband of Patricia “Pat” (nee MacDonald). Loving dad of Robert “Rob” (Jodi) and Suzanne. Proud Papa of Grace, Amy; Christopher and Samantha. Dear twin brother of John (Carolyn) Ben and predeceased by his sister Violet (Steve) Previdsa. Dear brother-in-law of Angie (Reg) Farrell, Bill MacDonald, Gail (John) Parsons, Raymond (Barbara) MacDonald and Mary Arlene (Jim) Aitken. Bob will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 75 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time (no appointment is necessary). Masks and social distancing will be required.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home by invitation.
Livestreaming of the funeral service will be available on the funeral home website on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11 a.m.
In Bob’s memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society and Autism Ontario.
