HAKER, Robert « Bob » John (Retired Senior Fire Prevention Officer – Trenton Fire Department) …Called to the Lord and now at peace with Helen and Christine at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of the late Helena « Helen » Haker (nee Kralik). Proud father of the late Christine Haker and Tony Haker & his wife Lisa. Cherished grandfather of Aiden and Reid Haker. Bob is survived by his sisters Pat Haker and Peggy Burris (the late Elwood) and his brother in law Gordon Barr. He is predeceased by his parents Robert & Mary Haker and his sisters Betty Barr and Mary Katherine Haker. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Bob will be remembered as a co-founder with Quinte Access, he wishes for seniors and people with mobility problems to have access to their community. He was proud of his long standing 70 year plus involvement with the Knights of Columbus and being an active parishioner at St. Peter’s Church. Visitation will be held at the Weaver – West, 170 Dundas St. West, Trenton on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at St. Peter’s Church at 11:00 AM. Spring Interment Mt Calvary Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions, attendees are asked to RSVP at rsvp@weaverfuneralhomes.com or call during business hours 613-394-2433. The following restrictions will be adhered to; contact tracing will be taken, masks are mandatory and social distancing will be maintained. If desired, memorial donations to St. Peter’s Catholic Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
