Richére Cormier
1937-2021
Richére Cormier, 83, of Irishtown, passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, January 8, 2021. Born In
St. Quentin NB, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and Lola
Lévesque.
You would often see her writing, playing music or being
creative with a needle and thread. One thing you can be sure of is
that every year she would patiently wait for the snow to melt and for
Spring to arrive. Not a sunny day would go by that you didn’t see her
in one of the many gardens, feeling the earth between her
fingertips.
As the birds chirped and flew around and we all gathered, you
would see her smile from ear to ear tapping her toes to the sweet
melodies made from her loved ones.
May her soul rest in peace and her memories live on with us.
Her life may not have always been easy, so many sacrifices were made,
all of her love and the care she had for everyone will never be
forgotten.
They say the world changes from year to year, our lives from
day to day, but the love and memory of you, shall never
pass.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Vincent; her sons
Gabriel Cormier (Carol) and Daniel Cormier, brothers Archie (Linda),
Emmanuel (Donna), Alex (Diane) and Micheal (Bertha); sisters Edith
Dollement (Joe), Flechette Lévesque (Ray) and Flechelle
Campbell (Roger); a daughter in law Alice Cormier; along with 9
grandchildren Archer (Amanda), Richer (Jane), April (Brian), Emmanuel
(Christiana), Diane (Steven), Cindy (Kenneth), Daisy, Adam, Alex
(Kandice), 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great
grandchild.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by sons Richer,
Archer and Vincent Jr. Cormier.
Interment will take at Elmwood Cemetery, followed by a
celebration of her life in May 2021.
Honouring Richére’s love of flowers, they are greatly
appreciated and accepted.
