With his family by his side on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in his 59th year, Richard made his final goodbye. Cherished husband and best friend of Melissa “Missy” Martin. Loving son of Sandy and the late John Martin (2019). Loving father of Johnathan and Michael Martin and step-father of Kaitlyn Lefler (Mike Herr) and Matthew Lefler. Much loved Papa Rick of Zachary, Bruce and Clarissa. Dear brother of Steven Martin and Paula (Phil) Race. Dear son-in-law of Don and Ginny Howick. Dear brother-in-law of Lindy (Paul) Robbins and Mike (Malonie) Howick. Will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Richard’s life (“His Party”) will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford (519) 758-1553.
