Obituary
It is with much sadness we share that on Sunday, October 3rd 2021, Richard Oliver Bubb-Clarke, loving husband, father, grandfather (Poppy), brother and friend passed away peacefully at home in Toronto, Canada at the age of 78. Richard was born to Maisie and Herbert on August 31st, 1943 in Kingston, Jamaica. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sir George Williams University in Montreal in 1967. After a whirlwind romance, he married the love of his life, Erica on August 10th, 1968 and together they raised two children, Andrew and Melissa. Richard had a remarkable career in business that culminated in his rising to the position of Senior Vice President at the Bank of Nova Scotia, from which he retired after more than 30 years. He had a passion for his family, travel, fine cars and scotch. He loved live sporting events with the Toronto Raptors and the Jamaican National Track and Field team being his favourites. Richard was known for his quick wit, kindness, curiosity and generosity. He is survived by his wife Erica, son Andrew (Eva), daughter Melissa (Johnny), four grandchildren Anna, Kyle, Oliver and Emma, sisters Sandra and Shirley and numerous other cherished family and friends around the world.
