Peacefully, on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Devoted wife of the late Peter Hoffman for sixty-three years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Randy Hoffman and Pauline Lai, Nancy and the late Allan Flegg, Lisa and Allan Schouela. Sister of the late Morton and the late Bess Paikowsky. Dear sister-in-law of the late Helene and the late Horace Ripstein, the late Morton and the late Elsa Hoffman. Devoted ‘Nana’ to her grandchildren, Jill, Emily, and Alexandra Flegg; Paul Schouela, Nicholas Schouela and Julia Hunter, Victoria Schouela and Maxence Leblond. Rhona was like a mother to her niece, Sandra Paikowsky, and to her Ogunquit family. Although her cooking and baking are what brought people together, her wit and intellect are what kept them coming back. She will be greatly missed.
