It is with great sadness, the family
of Ray Portis announces his sudden passing at his home in Jerseyside,
at the young age of 54.
Ray is predeceased by his Mother (Marjorie
Wakeham), Grandmother (Anna Miller), and Uncle (Ignatius
Miller).
Leaving to
mourn his loss, his stepfather Dermot Wakeham, sister Lisa,
brother-in-law Trevor, brother Sean, sister-in law Madonna, nephews
Kyle, Ryan, and Stephen, nieces Shawna, and Stephanie, and great
nephew Levi.
Also,
greatly mourning his loss Very Special Aunt, Ellen Miller, Very
Special Cousins, Anna Miller, Neshie Miller, Rick Miller (Chelsie,
Sophie and Carter). Aunt Linda Herban, nephews Junior and
Derek.
Ray lived a
simple life, and was very proud of his newly bought motorcycle, his
pride & joy! He was very happy in his new job,
looking forward to returning to work next week. He was always there to
lend a helping hand to those around him.
The family would like to send warm
thanks to Powers Ambulance, and special thanks to EMT Liam Quilty for
their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken
place. No service, family only.
