We announce with deep sadness the passing of Ralph Norman Johnston. He entered into eternal rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Ralph was a young 93 year old and is survived by his loving wife Gwendoline Johnston, his five children Linda Thorley (Stephen), Judy Dixon, Larry Dixon (Nancy), Jeffrey Dixon (Mary) and Gail Dixon (Colin Howe). Ralph will be missed by all of his grandchildren Jeb, Katey, Dustin, Angela, Amanda, Kevin, Maryann, Lucus, Crystal, Anthony, Jennifer, Charlotte, Bradley, Sarah, Taylyn, Christopher and 17 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ralph is survived by his brothers Douglas (Fern) and Charles (Pauline) his sisters Rita, Shirley (Colin) and Sylvia. He is the son of the late Harlow and Margaret Johnston of Charlieville, ON. Predeceased by sisters Laura, Louise, Marjorie, Doreen, Phyllis and Lucy. His brothers Howard, Richard and Rodger. He will be deeply missed by his dear family and friends. Ralph enjoyed traveling and had many family vacations, enjoyed spending summers at Graham lake.
In keeping with Ralph’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 2 pm on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Glen Elbe Cemetery, Athens.
Covid protocols will be in effect with registration of attendance required. To Register, please RSVP below or call 613-342-2828 weekdays between 9 am – 4 pm.
