God called Rachele peacefully on October 25, 2021 at the age of 81. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Vincenzo. Cherished by her children, Angela (Frank), Marco (Linda), Rosa (Nick) and Paola (Victor). Rachele was a proud Nonna to her loving grandchildren Melissa (Luis), Tiffanie (Jeff), Monica, Lucas, Justin (Daniela), Kayla (Armando), Julia (Anthony), Olivia and Marco. Never forgotten by her great grandchildren Giovanna, Victoria, Benjamin and Olivia. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario. Tel. 905-850-9500) on Wednesday October 27, 2021 from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Drive, Maple, Ontario) on Thursday October 28, 2021 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery (33 Memory Lane, Toronto, Ontario). Online Condolences may be made at: www.demarcofuneralhomes.com
As the restrictions and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the “Guest Book” and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. Our staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if any assistance is needed.
We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. This also includes the church and the cemetery.
Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to please meet us at the church.
As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
