Rachel was born into a family of 12 children near St. Leon MB. With her husband Donald, they raised 11 children of their own having lived most of their lives in Somerset. She was always ready at any moment to feed a crew (which often happened) and did so with a full heart. She could often be found playing the piano surrounded by her husband and children singing along (songs that were brought to life again in her final days). She loved curling, playing cards, bingo, casino outings, music (took piano lessons in her later years so she could play in church), dancing and walking (oh the miles she put on while living in the Foyer).
She was a woman of faith! She was known to sneak into the Church when it was closed through the pandemic to sit in on the service being broadcast.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her heart. She was rich in family and love!
