Wilson, Philippa (Pippy) Doran
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the sudden passing of Philippa (Pippy) Doran Wilson on Saturday, November 13, 2021, she was in her 66th year, Pre -deceased by her mother and father Barbara and Philip Halsey. She is the Beloved and cherished mother of Amber Wilson (Gil Pharand) and Holly Avery (Charlie Avery). Proud and loving grandmother of Reilly, Caeden, Hunter, Chloe, Owen and Brody.
Pippy will be sadly missed by her sister Lesley Williamson, brother in law Lynn Williamson, nephew Jason Fitzpatrick, great niece and nephew Claire and Cooper.
Pippy was loved by everyone that knew her, her kind and friendly personality touched many. She shared a special bond with her grandchildren and was extremely proud of her daughters and their families. She grew up in Toronto Ontario and enjoyed all her summers at go home lake at the cottage. Pippy adored the outdoors and the water, it was her happy place. She will be dearly missed always, cherished forever.
Respecting her wishes cremation will take place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Family will receive friends at Martyn Funeral Home on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. We ask that you RSVP your attendance (705-472-8810) so we may respect the 50-person limit. Masks will be mandatory while in the Funeral Home as well as social distancing requirements. If desired, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association North Bay & District would be gratefully acknowledges as expressions of sympathy.
