Peter James Cunliffe
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara, with family by his side on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 58 years to Elizabeth. Loving father of Iain and Karen. Cherished grandpa to Aidan and Kaelan.
Peter was a longtime employee of Continental Can Company (Plant 54 in Etobicoke). He will be remembered for his sense of humour and for his love of family.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice Niagara for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, October 28 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
Those wishing to attend the funeral must RSVP to the funeral home at 905-937-4444 as capacity is limited.
