It is with great sadness that the McShane family announce Paul’s sudden passing while at work on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 at the age of 74 years. He will be greatly missed by his family; his wife Jean (Kerr) McShane, daughters Diane (John) Morrison and their son Paul, Elaine McShane (Shane Ellis) and their family Brianna and Brody, Christine Mulville (Greg Desjardine) and their family Blade, Kaleb, Haley, Aidan, Matthew and Makayla, Colleen (Ken) Pritchard and their family Harper, Hadley and Cooper, and son Glen McShane (Jen Bauereiss) and their family Aubrey, Kiara, Gavin, Maddie, Peyton and Nicholas. Paul will be fondly remembered by his siblings-in-law Marilyn (Francis) Hagan, Earl (Janie) Kerr, Kim Kerr, Shirley Hogan, Marilyn Hogan, all his families and many good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Catherine McShane, siblings Marie Collard, Carole Michaud, Philip and Arthur Hogan, Sandra Trinchera, Nicholas Hogan, Ronald Kerr and Carl Kerr, and his biological parents Harold and Grace Hogan. Paul will be greatly missed as well by all his extended family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Sunday September 5th, 2021 from 12 noon to 4:00 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the family on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in St. Johns Church Perth followed by interment in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Stanleyville. In remembrance, memorial donations to St. Bridget’s Church or the Parish Cemetery would be appreciated .
