It is with deep sadness that we
announce the death of Paul Joseph Schofield that occurred on August
13, 2021. In a life of only fifty-four years, his gift of
unconditional love to his family also had an affect on many others.
From a young age he enjoyed listening to rock music and attending live
concerts later on with his brother David and partner, Kim. Equally, he
loved dancing, bowling, swimming and socializing with his friends and
the daily anticipation of interacting with dedicated staff at Moncton
Employment Training Services.
He was the second of three
children born to Michael and Nancy Schofield and his light in a
darkened world will be greatly missed by those that knew, loved and
supported him, especially those needing a smile or a good hug. He was
also blessed to have the extended care of Norma and Gordon Blacklock
and of Bea Phillips and Mandy (Boucher) Phillips who became a second
family for him.
He leaves behind his mother Nancy, brother David and
his partner Kim Carter, sister Alex (Susan) and husband David Roach
and their children, Emerson, Isabelle and Olivia
Roach.
We believe that Paul is now with
his father Mike, his Nana and Papa King, Granny Armitage and our many
relatives who were an important part of his
life.
