Obituary
Taylor, Paul Ernest- age 66, passed away peacefully with his wife Glenda by his side, at Andys House in Port Carling, on Saturday March 6, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his children Heather ( John), Karen (David), and Kevin (Tara). Paul was a proud and loving grandfather to Bodie, Kemper, Breeana, Hunter, Ariella, and Saoirse. Paul will be missed by his sisters Sue Taylor ( Phil), Pat Hamer (Frank) and his brother Bill Taylor (Peggy ) ; as well as his wife’s family Barry Readman (Linda), Greg Readman (Janet), Rob Readman (Diane), Sherri Eidsness (David), Marta Loreti (John), and all his nieces and nephews.
Paul moved to Gravenhurst from Breslau, in 1968. He loved Muskoka with all its lakes and being outdoors. He enjoyed time with his family camping, he was an avid fisherman and ejoyed hunting, kayaking, and snowshoeing. Other hobbies included photography, building things in his workshop, and cooking. He made delicious pumpkin pies every Christmas!
To honour Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Andy’s House at Hospice Muskoka, or the Cancer Care unit at RVH would be greatly appreciated.
