Obituary of Patrick Michael Vigneron
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patrick Michael Vigneron on Aug 31, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Patrick was many things to many people: husband, father, and grandfather; relative, teacher, coach, and friend. He was predeceased by his parents, Felix and Gwenydd. Pat is survived and dearly missed by his wife of 36 years, Ramona; his three kids, Adam (Galina), Beth (Grant), and Samara (Andrew); his two endlessly entertaining grandsons, Gordie and Grady; his siblings, Alan and Lori; his step mom, Shirley; and countless relatives and friends.
Patrick was a kind and gentle spirited person. He and Ramona loved to travel the world, scuba dive and spend time at their cabin at Clear Lake with family and friends. Pat and Ramona taught at Notre Dame College for 30 years. Vigs was the IT Director in charge of implementing the computer laptop program at Notre Dame. He also coached hockey at the College throughout his career. He loved building and fixing different things and his kids always knew Dad would make it work. He had a very loving heart and giving soul. We will miss his dry sense of humour and his beautiful blue eyes.
Prayers for Patrick will be held at St. Augustine’s in Wilcox, SK, on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine’s on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with interment in the Wilcox Cemetery.
