Passed peacefully in Oro-Medonte on Sunday September 12, 2021 in her 82nd year. Patricia, loving wife of 62 years to Neil, predeceased by her parents Elsie & Wilmot, will be sadly missed by her children Elizabeth (David) Anderson, Michael (Rose) Hurtubise, and Anne Marie (Larry) Wilkie. Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Andrew Wilkie (Aimee Bedell), Malorie Wilkie (Devin Proulx), Niklas Eriksson (Brittany Annand), Emelie Eriksson (Daniel Brodhecker), Mitchell Hurtubise (Sherilyn Edwards), and Hannah Hurtubise and by her great grandchildren Katrina Walker, Jordan Wilkie, Colton Wilkie, Bryleigh Annand, Colby Eriksson, Riley Eriksson, Kai Eriksson, Paige Eriksson. Loving sister of Jeanette (Bruce) Murdoch and predeceased by her sister Rosemary Golding. Pat was a loving aunt to Tamica Herod, Adam Golding, and Jason (Laura) Herod, and was a loving great aunt to Falin Herod and Luke Herod. Pat will be missed by her sister in law Aileen (Bernard predeceased) Hurtubise. Loving aunt of Susan Hurtubise (Jon), Catherine (Steve predeceased) Grant, Christine (Ralph) Galloway, and Paul (Barb) Trainor. Pat was great friends with Pauline Gordon, Ann Carson, Gen & Bill Munroe, Judy Hodge, and Jenny Lynn Burgin (Shawn). Pat was a 20 year member of Quota International of Orillia Inc., Past President of Quota International of Orillia Charitable Association (2010-2011), past president of the Orillia Guild of Artists, and long time parishioner of The Church of the Guardian Angels. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595, on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 6:45 p.m.. Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private family mass at The Church of the Guardian Angels on Friday September 17, 2021. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation and will be appreciated by the family.
