First and foremost, Pat was a loving father will be sadly missed by his 3 children: Karli Robertson-Bolger, Theo Robertson-Bolger (Mother: Stacy Robertson), and Emerson King-Bolger (Mother: Alison King) all of Midland. He was godfather to Chad’s 4 children and a beloved uncle to nieces: Colby and Lauren and nephews: Calum, Kane, Houston, Hayden and Hudson. He will be missed by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ontario and Nova Scotia as well as his in-laws Fay and Hugh Robertson (deceased) and Ryan Robertson all of Midland. At a young age Pat moved to Arnprior where he grew up and began skating at age 3. He developed a love of hockey very young, making many lasting and good friendships through the sport during his lifetime. He was an incredible athlete. Pat was very competitive whether playing ball ,hockey or on the golf course he played to win . In his early 20’s Pat moved to Midland, ON to work, and shortly after start a family. He was a 23 year dedicated employee at Schott-Gemtron and played hockey for the Boston Pizza Hockey League where he built many lifelong close friendships at work and play. During the summer months Pat could be found playing baseball or shooting a round of golf with friends. Pat also was a co-owner/operator of Clear Round Equestrian Center for many years in Penetanguishene with Stacy where he watched Karli ride horses and passed his passion for sports onto Theo. Chad and Pat shared a very special bond as brothers and became best friends especially in the past year. The loss of a fun loving, generous young man like Pat is hard to understand but we were all blessed to have had him for the time we did. Go Canucks! A special thank you to the ALS Society of Canada who provided so much needed support and equipment to Pat during his extremely brave battle with ALS. Pat has been laid to rest in a private ceremony alongside his late mother Margo in Brampton, Ontario at the Brampton Cemetery.
