In loving memory of Pasquale (Pat) Fragomeni who peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021.
A caring and devoted husband of 56 years, he is now reunited with the love of his life, Elga (Urso) Fragomeni. He was a loving father with a heart of gold to Samuel, Thomas (Lisa Merkley), and Sandra (Peter Tower). Cherished and very proud Nonno to his grandchildren Allyson, Nicholas, Matthew, Sara, Brendan, Lauren and great grandson Jed. He loved us all unconditionally, he was our rock to lean on and his instincts were to always love and protect us.
He was very close to and spoke highly of his siblings Tony (Joanne), Teresa, Bruno (Louise), Carmela Crandall (Larry), and Susie Fragomeni-Jones (Mark). He was the cherished son of Salvatore Fragomeni, Carmela (Martelli) Fragomeni and step mother Faustina. He had a very special relationship and bond with all of the Urso brothers and sister in laws. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
His kind eyes, gentle smile, genuine compassion and positive outlook on life is cherished by everyone he touched. His zest for life, love for family, expertise of making homemade wine and sausages, being an avid gardener and crib player and enjoying his “camp” on Manitoulin Island will always be remembered. But above everything, he will be remembered for his endearing and wavering love for his family. He always had mottos, and one that will stick most is “we are not the best but we are hard to beat!” Well dad, YOU were the BEST and we will miss you! Your legacy of love, family, hard work, compassion, kindness and integrity will be long rooted in our family for generations.
At his request, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated if donations were made to your local Soup Kitchen. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
