Obituary of Norman Joseph Hannen
I have fought the good fight,

A faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ has risen. Norman J. Hannen, born in Toronto, was a talented and skillful man, who had many dreams which he fulfilled during his 94 years. One of his most meaningful contributions in life was being a steward of the living word of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
His peace, wisdom, kindness, patience, and love of others were qualities that we aspire to embody in our daily life. He was a Pastor in Lumsden, as well as a travelling pastor, who as a vessel of the Lord Jesus, touched the lives of many people in Canada and abroad. Norman was also an avid sports fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs, golf, curling and of course, fishing. He had many friends and family that would join him for a round of golf. Norman passed the love of sports onto his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, brother, daughter, sisters-in-law and son-in-law; Norman is lovingly remembered by his wife of 72 years of marriage, Lillian Hannen; his daughters Janice, Dianne, Norma; and son-in-law Norman; grandchildren, spouses, and greatgrandchildren: Michael (Andréeanne) and Marshall; Kara; Daniel (Amy) and Calvin; Matthew (Amanda); Andrew; Amanda (Thomas) and Charlotte; Kyle (Caitlin) and Rhett and Blake. Norman will be remembered by many friends, community members, pastors and fellowship groups who had the opportunity to witness his ministry around the Regina area and abroad.
A private celebration of life will be held in the spring at which time there will be an interment at Kedleston Cemetery.
