Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Groves Park Lodge at the age of 94 with family by his side. Loving Husband of the late Beatrice Belanger. Predeceased by his son Wesley, brothers, sisters and parents.
Survived by his children Calvin (Karen), Kenny (Kim), Sherry (Carl), Darlene (Mike), Kelly (Earl) and Kirk (Shiela). He will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Norman had a great life, he worked for many years at Ottawa Valley Grain and then the Renfrew Golf Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved his fiddle and was a member of the Renfrew County Fiddlers for over 40 years and the Renfrew Legion. He was also in the Renfrew Highland Pipe and Drums, He played the bag pipes.
Norman’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew where visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm. and again Friday morning from 9:30am until time of service in the Zohr Family Chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Rosebank Cemetery, Haley Station. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donations to the Groves Park Lodge Auxiliary or the Renfrew County Fiddlers in memory of Norman.
