Obituary of Norma May Ryan
Entered into rest at the St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville on Friday November 19th, 2021. Norma Ryan (Poole) of Brockville aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Victor Ryan. Dear mother of Michael (Shelley) of Ottawa, James (Cathy) of Kingston and Robert of Brockville. Your three boys miss you already mom. Loving grandmother to Patrick, Alexander, Jennifer, Sarah, Matthew, Ben and Holly. Bunty Nana cherished and was in return well loved by all her grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late John and Elsie (Holloway) Poole; and sister of the late Pamela Poole.
Norma graduated from nursing school and worked as a registered nurse for decades finishing her professional career at St. Mary’s hospital in Montreal where she was born and spent the majority of her life. Raising three boys to men.
Family and friends will be received for a Celebration of Norma’s Life in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Saturday November 27th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Norma, donations to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
