The family announces with great sadness the passing of Noella at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of 59 years of Raymond Moreau. Loving mother of Denis Moreau (Cindy), Sylvie Racicot (late Alain), Ginette Moreau, André Moreau (Carey-Ann) and Marcel Moreau (Colette).
Cherished grandmother of Daniel Moreau (Patricia), Julie Moreau, Alain Talon, Richard Dupuis Jr. (Casandra), Michel Racicot, Éric Racicot, Mélanie Joncas, Raymond Joncas (Shyla Grondin), Nathalie Moreau, Josée Moreau (Guillaume Canuel), Angèle Moreau, Letitia Labelle, Tyler Labelle and Alexa Labelle (Tyler Garton) and great grandmother of Brenden Moreau, Jaxson Racicot, Kaylee Racicot, Zayde Racicot, Jessie Joncas Falardeau, Bailey Joncas, Billy Joncas, Kylee Groves, Raiden Joncas, Maya Joncas, André Moreau Jr., Noella Canuel, Andréa Canuel, Aleyah Joannette, Amayah Joannette, Linkyn Garton, Abel Garton and one great grandchild on the way.
Dear sister of Roger Gélinas (Denise), Gérald Gélinas (Laura), Lorian Gélinas (Suzanne), Ronald Gélinas (first late wife Jeannette) (common-law spouse Bernadette Moreau), Rosaire Gélinas, late Aimé Gélinas (late Jacqueline), late Yvon Gélinas (Sylvianne). She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Joséphat Gélinas and Lucienne Allarie.
My wife was the best wife ever and mother to our five children. Noëlla was respected and loved by everyone who knew her. Her open arms were always so warm and heartfelt. She loved to cook, sew and knit. Many of her family have been blessed by having one of her amazing blankets. We cherish them so much. She had a contagious laugh and loved to dance and be surrounded by the people she loved. Her brothers were so dear to her and she always expressed her love for them. May she be resting in eternal peace. We love you mom xo.
