It is with profound sadness that the family of Mr. Neil Graham announce his passing on Monday, October 11, 2021. Neil passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, due to complications from ALS. Neil is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wendy, his children Melissa, Adam and Colin, and his brothers Brian and Shawn (Suzanne) and his sister Cheryl. Neil was the most loving, friendly, genuine, dedicated man, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Neil’s career started with Kmart Canada in Victoria BC and led him back to Ontario where he transitioned to the Zellers brand. He was a loyal member of Scouts Canada, from Cubs to Ventures and later as a volunteer leader and he loved to camp, winter and summer. He especially liked to camp out in a lounge chair with a cerveza, watching the waves on the Punta Cana beach. He played hockey and golf, and got great joy out of driving his sports car.
Celebration of Neil’s Life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Neil in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com.
