Neale Arthur Dalton, 95, of Burnstown, passed away this Sunday February 14, 2021, in Renfrew, Ontario.
The only son of Ernest and Claire, he is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Sheila, nee Scammell.
Neale will be fondly remembered by his beloved sons and daughter, James, Carol, Keith, and John, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Born January 13th, 1926, he graduated from Parkdale Collegiate and the University of Toronto. The city
collegiate badminton winner, Neale was a champion in sports and in life. He went on to an illustrious teaching career as the head of the math department at Central High School of Commerce in Toronto as well as serving a term as the Ontario Teachers Association President. Retiring in 1982 he enjoyed traveling and hosting family on Norway Lake. Founding member of the Ottawa Valley Barbershop choral group, and
music leader at the Burnstown United Church for decades, Neale joyously played music all around Renfrew County and wowed them on the dance floor! We love you Grandad!
