FINN, Nancy Florence (nee Charman) June 18, 1928 – March 8, 2021
Peacefully at Paris Willett Hospital, on Monday, March 8, 2021, at the age of 92, in the company of her eldest daughter, Jayne.
Beloved, beautiful, and wonderful mother to Jayne Finn (Michael Evans) and Dianne Finn (Michael Michener). Predeceased by her dear husband of 69 years, Ted Finn, her parents Richard Dean Charman and Elizabeth May Clemons. Nancy was an only child but is survived by cousins in England, Sheila Morey, Esme Charman, Sylvia Templar, Michael Odlin, John Colgate, and, in Canada, by nieces: Suzanne Sanders, Martha Finn, Carol Moore and Mary Jane Jennings, as well as nephews: Geoffrey, Gerrold and Paul Jackson and extended family. Sadly missed by caring friends Lyle & Lorraine Grineage. Nancy did not have grandchildren but delighted in her dogs, Pandy, Pierre & Mickie; she was an animal lover and caregiver to all creatures, great and small.
Nancy emmigrated from England to Canada with her parents at the age of 10 months and grew up living at the Paris Golf Club where her dad was the Pro. She attended Central School, Paris District High School, worked at the Piccadilly, trained as a hairdresser and opened her own salon in downtown Paris. She was a charter and lifetime member of the Paris Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and built lifelong friendships with many of her sorority sisters. Alongside her husband Ted, Nancy volunteered many years with the Paris Fair Board and partnered in his horse breeding & racing hobby.

Cremation has occurred. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Paris. Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
