Myrna Navarro Bumanglag
February 3, 1951-November 7, 2021
It is with deep sorrow and much Love that we The Bumanglag and Navarro family mourn the passing of Myrna Bumanglag surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the age of 70. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Eddie Bumanglag, and her son James (Eden) and her precious two grandchildren Christian and Isaiah.
She will also be missed by many of her siblings, Dominador Jr. Navarro (Ofelia), Rosemarie Diaz (Alan), Arthur Navarro, Priscilla Laureano (Orlando), Gloria June Navarro, Jerry Navarro, Eddie Navarro (Floser), Ann Marie Navarro-Manansala (Joel) and many nephews and nieces and numerous relatives and friends across the world.
She was predeceased by her father Dr. Dominador Navarro and mother Gloria Navarro as well as her stepmother Jeanette Navarro.
Born in San Jose, Nueva Ecija Philippines, she graduated at the college of nursing of Perpetual Help. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1974 where they started their life in The Pas, MB. Then moved and settled in Winnipeg and she worked as a nurse manager at Central Park Lodge where she retired. Mom’s contagious laughter and smile will be dearly missed each and every day. Mom always welcomed everyone with open arms and she was definitely always the life of the party.
Thank you to the nurses who cared for mom at the Women’s Hospital (5th floor) and Special thanks especially to all of the relatives who flew from the States to come and care for mom during her last days with us. We would not be able to do this without you all.
A public Viewing/Lamay will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel at 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg, MB. on Friday, November 12, 2021, for those who wish to give their Condolences and pay their respects the viewing will start at 6:00 pm till 12:00 am.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, 1:00pm at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 748 keewatin St. Winnipeg, MB.
Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main St. Winnipeg, MB.
